ECO OFFICES
All INSITU garden offices are made with a determination to uphold eco / green credentials where possible. As with all things there are variable requirements for ‘greeness’ from clients and with this in mind we buy all components to produce a product that can hold its own on a ‘green’ for ‘green’ basis within our market sector. However, some clients require a more ‘tailored’ requirement with an even keener eye to the green nature of the final building. All of our buildings have the following eco elements as standard:

Glazing
Our aluminium glazing is 100% recyclable and as standard carries our thermally efficient Argon filled Pilkington K Clear Performance Glass.
Walls
Our SIPS panels are constructed of an inner and outer made of oriented strand boards (OSB) which are by their very nature a green product. The inner core of the SIPS panel is a polyurethane foam which inherently gives the superb insulation values. Polyurethane foam is free of CFC’s and HCFC’s with zero ozone depletion. Both OSB and the foam core are are completely recyclable which make them a truly green product.
Roof
Firestone RubberCover™ EPDM is an inert material with limited environmental impact, both during manufacture and installation, and high durability compared to other roofing membranes. In addition, Firestone's EPDM manufacturing facilities have received ISO 14001 certification for their environmental management system. 100% recyclable.
Fittings
All of our fittings and other elements that constitute the rest of our buildings are always specified with a view to their eco credentials.
